Backend Developer (Core PHP)

Job Description:
As a Backend Developer at our fintech startup, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers our applications. You will collaborate closely with our development team to ensure the seamless integration of frontend elements with server-side logic. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our fintech solutions using your expertise in Core PHP/Node js.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP/Node js to support our fintech applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Work with databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement and maintain APIs for seamless communication between the frontend and backend.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data through robust data protection measures.
• Optimize backend performance to handle increasing user loads and ensure a responsive user experience.
• Collaborate with other team members to understand project requirements and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in backend development, incorporating relevant advancements into our technology stack.

Requirements:

• Min 5-7 years of experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in PHP/Node Js.
• Strong knowledge of PHP/Node js web frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in version control systems, with Git being preferred.
• Understanding of frontend technologies, especially how they integrate with PHP backends.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Knowledge of the Stock Market is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Core PHP/Node js and other frameworks is a plus.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.
