The Wow
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll be working in an agile team of software engineers focused on pushing the limits and striving for innovation to create exceptional personalised customer experiences and solve difficult business problems based on a robust, low latent platform.
You will help your team integrate and create custom development for the platforms used by the Marketing, Commercial and Strategy teams.
You’re good at
- 5+ year’s experience in software or web development
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering (optional)
- Solid understanding of PHP / Python using modern frameworks such as Symfony / CakePHP / Laravel / Django
- Solid understanding of JavaScript using modern frameworks such as VueJS / Angular
- Culturally aware and sensitive – an understanding of cultural differences within and across markets
- High attention to detail
- Strong time management & organisational skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to create and manage your own to-do list
- An eye for design.
- Strong English communication skills given the central role
It would be awesome if you have experience with:
- MySQL & AWS Redshift
- Apache Kafka
A flavour of what you'll be doing
Participate in and responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, release, administration, tuning and implementation of web based solutions across both front and back end spectrums;
Designing, building and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable code;
Develop integrations, prototypes and proof of concepts for advanced platforms such as cloud systems, marketing platforms, Google products and other external systems which communicate with the internal company systems;
Maintain, curate and extend the Digital environment and technological assets of the Betsson Group;
Assure quality and consistency of produced applications;
Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems;
Providing technical support for web applications;
Troubleshoot problematic code;
Stay on top of evolving technology providing efficient design and improvements of the platform architecture.
