Backend Engineer/ Software Developer

Leaping AI is building hyperrealistic voice AI agents to help people over the phone.

Signing our first customer in January 2024, we are now handling tens of thousands of calls daily. We are a small (you’ll be an employee #4), high-performing team combining top-grade industry experience of creating cutting-edge ML technologies in Microsoft OpenAI, AWS, IBM Research, BCG and latest research insights from top university labs.

Tasks

• Contribute to our backend (Python, Supabase, Docker, Azure)
• Deploy the infrastructure to cloud
• Configure and maintain PostgreSQL database
• Contribute to our real-time voice communication stack

Requirements

Required

• Built scalable APIs Experience developing distributed applications
• Multiple personal/professional projects with Python
• Know PostgreSQL and how to bend it to your will
• Experience with Docker and deploying container on Azure as container apps or VMs
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of webrtc
• Async python programming

Extra-mile (optional)

• Deploying LLMs in production on Azure
• Knowledge of Azure cloud offerings
• Experience with Next.js and React
• Experience with SIP, call processing,
  
• Experience developing applications leveraging LLMs
