Who we are looking for:
Wunderman Thompson Costa Rica is seeking for a Technical Architect. The TA is oversees the technology execution, provides status updates to relevant team members, is in charge of risk assessments and defining architectural direction for execution teams and at the same time is the person in charge of building architectural models that are reusable.
The TA completes all research on developing technologies and should lead all collaboration on cross-functional business goals.

Responsibilities:
- Manages technology teams and/or processes to support client
- Assesses feasibility, alternatives, and opportunities
- Solves and prevents technical problems early on
- Scopes consultation to business/creative teams prior to production phase
- Liaises between technology and business/creative teams in all project phases
- Supports upsell efforts
- Provides sales support--written, verbally, and in person as required
- Delivers on time with zero defects; delivers against the business objectives and creative vision
- Delivers complex full systems
- Owns scope and all technical documentation
- Creates, approves, and manages estimates
- Reviews and evaluates timeline and project plan feasibility
- Manages solution architecture deployment
- Implements and governs solution architectures
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect (6+ years)
- Hands-on experience with software development and system administration
- Understanding of strategic IT solutions
- Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. JavaScript, Java)
- Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. MySQL)
- Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Organizational and leadership skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
