WeRide is China’s first L4 autonomous driving technology start-up company to obtain strategic investment from a top-tier global automaker Alliance Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi.


We employ a highly skilled technology team of more than 300 employees globally, 70% of whom are R&D engineers. Our core management team all has extensive domestic and international experience in technology development and business operations in both China and the USA at companies such as Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Baidu, DiDi, Cisco, and others.


WeRide has been focusing on the strategic alliance among AI technology companies, car makers and mobility service platforms. WeRide Robotaxi, a joint venture company of WeRide, Baiyun Taxi and SCI (Guangzhou) Group, has launched a Robotaxi program in Guangzhou, China. The operation covers 144.65 square kilometers in the Huangpu and Guangzhou Development District, providing the locals with Robotaxi services on their daily commute. It’s the first Robotaxi service open to the public in China.
