Position Overview

We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded, small-business M&A broker to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the founders to develop software to enable and empower independent M&A brokers, revolutionizing the M&A ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the founders to define the look, feel, and direction of the platform
• Spend up to 10 hours per week educating and collaborating with the founders on the intricacies of the M&A broker workflow
• Test and help optimize software aimed at making brokers more efficient
• Allow the founders to shadow your due diligence, discovery meeting, and other critical processes/phases of the M&A workflow

Qualifications

• You must have been an active, independent M&A broker for small businesses
• Before becoming independent, you must have experience working for a brokerage firm
• Ability to work collaboratively in a startup environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to industry newbies
