Mobile QA Engineer Intern - Remote

We are seeking a skilled Mobile QA Engineer with expertise in React and React Native applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing on physical devices and automation testing using frameworks like Jest or Cypress. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our React Native mobile applications across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of React Native applications on actual iOS and Android devices
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using tools like Jest, Cypress, or similar frameworks
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using project management tools
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve application quality
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app testing and React Native development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Around 1 year of experience in web or application testing
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in automation testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or similar tools
• Experience with React or React Native automation testing
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of mobile app performance testing and optimization techniques
• Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman
• Understanding of mobile app security testing principles
