About the Role
As a Field Marketing Manager for the Americas on our Marketing Team, you will own the creation, planning, and execution of the events roadmap, focusing on increasing brand visibility and desirability across verticals, generating leads, and delivering a high event ROI. Your primary objective will be to oversee all vertical and insurance events, particularly retail events for the enterprise business and Mid-Market retail.
To drive success in this role, you will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working for a technology company in a similar role, with demonstrated experience leading and executing successful event sponsorships and attendance. Other work experience with a high-growth technology company is highly regarded. You must possess excellent communication, written, and project management skills, with a proactive, self-starter attitude suited to a fast-paced work environment. A tech-savvy individual with a growth mindset and a can-do approach is essential.
What will your day look like? You will...
- Lead Cover Genius Field Marketing strategy, including identifying key insurance and vertical events, with a specific focus on travel, retail, and ticketing vertical industries creating a yearly event road map, planning deliverables and successful execution.
- Work with the Director of Global Field Marketing to develop event strategy and objectives including the creation of event management processes that are scalable and easily actionable.
- Project-manage with end-to-end and follow-up plan each event’s initiatives to ensure it meets defined objectives - brand recognition, lead generation, and more.
- Negotiate and execute contracts for event sponsorships.
- Create outreach campaigns including email, social media, and lead-gen.
- Analyze, track, report on, and optimize events ROI.
- Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ideate and ensure deliverables are met including speaking engagements, off-site hospitality events.
- Coordinate and manage (including ordering and tracking) event inventory such as collateral, giveaways, booth design and set-up, etc.
- Provide logistics support for Cover Genius events attendees
To help us level up, you'll ideally have:
- Minimum 5+ years working in a similar role within a high-growth technology company.
- Proven track record of leading and executing successful event sponsorships and attendance.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and written skills.
- Strong project management skills with a history of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in planning and executing marketing strategies for the Mid-Market sector, driving measurable results.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of cross-functional teams (including engineering, product, partnerships, and finance) to deliver high-quality outcomes within set timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to generate creative solutions and optimize event strategies to achieve key performance metrics, such as lead generation and event ROI.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, A postgraduate degree and/or record of academic achievement is also desirable

Salary Range
The base salary range for this role is between $136,000 and $170,000. The total compensation package also includes equity, and the opportunity for additional earnings through our annual bonus or variable commission plans.
