Flo Mattress is seeking a dedicated and innovative Product Manager to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development and lifecycle of our mattress products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with Flo Mattress's commitment to quality and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends in the mattress industry, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and manage the product strategy and roadmap for Flo Mattress products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demands. Prioritize features and initiatives based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business value.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
Product Development: Work closely with engineering, design, and production teams to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality mattresses. Translate customer needs into clear and actionable product specifications.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders, including executives, sales, marketing, and customer support teams. Gather and incorporate feedback to refine product offerings.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans, including product positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch activities. Ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.
Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Use data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and make informed product decisions.
Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the product and enhance user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of product initiatives. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch optimization. Ensure products remain competitive and relevant in the market.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or a related role, preferably within the mattress or consumer goods industry. Proven track record of successfully managing products from conception to launch.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in product management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Trello).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes.
Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
