Job Description**
PlayAIO is seeking a talented and driven Data Scientist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in analyzing large datasets from various gambling platforms to identify trends, develop predictive models, and generate actionable insights. Your expertise will help lead design and implement data-driven strategies that enhance customer engagement, increase revenue, and improve overall business outcomes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Develop and Improve Machine Learning Models: Focus on the development and continuous improvement of machine learning models to drive higher client revenue. Utilize performance metrics such as precision, recall, accuracy, and f1-score to measure success.
- Development of PlayAIO Engine: Ensure the PlayAIO Engine can automatically score a customer's database based on core factors impacting baseline revenue. Newly integrated clients should be automatically scored upon data ingestion.
- Develop and Optimize Portal and Database Queries/Functions: Enhance existing queries and functions within the portal or database to ensure all components are high-performing.
- Client Reporting Enhancements: Improve existing and new client reporting tools by developing new reports, improving functionality, and adding visualizations or metrics.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets from gambling platforms, including online casinos, sports betting sites, and lotteries, to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to optimize marketing strategies, customer segmentation, and player retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client account managers, product development, and marketing, to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, new game features, and other business initiatives.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling data visualizations and reports, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuously monitor and refine models to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and ML, and apply these innovations to enhance our service offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing machine learning models and working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
