Role Overview
The Price Sharpness team is responsible for ensuring Coupang price effectiveness is maintained through rigorous audit of product pricing in accordance with company policies. This team provides analytical depth to find the root cause in any pricing gaps versus policy, and works closely with the Coupang’s operations team to escalate any issues and formulate sustainable process solutions. The Price Sharpness team also seeks to be a leader in audit efficiency, consistently seeking opportunities and best practices to improve audit quality and productivity. Members of the Price Sharpness team regularly apply critical thinking and domain expertise to understand and identify emerging risks that affect Coupang’s price effectiveness.
What you will do
- Lead price sharpness audits and generate reports; Including sampling of Coupang products for benchmarking comparable sellers, maintaining and upgrading audit templates
- Perform root cause analysis and remediation; Investigating root cause for any failures observed during audit and working with relevant stakeholders to fix process
- Build and improve the SOP for team members and periodically provide best practice and knowledge sharing on audit techniques and audit observations
- Documentation and quality control; perform internal peer review of audit results, and document corrective actions taken for any audit defects
- Other ad-hoc financial program management
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in process setup, operations, and audit
- Ability to perform operational processes within timelines
- Ability to understand and apply standards/policies, show depth of process understanding, and fix process defects
- Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- English ability a bonus
- SQL and PowerBI skills
