About the role
We’re looking for a visionary Creative Director to lead Payhawk’s creative marketing efforts. This role goes beyond design execution—you’ll be the driving force behind our brand's visual identity and creative strategy. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of designers to craft compelling, high-impact marketing campaigns and assets that elevate Payhawk’s brand awareness and engage our target audiences across all channels. Your work will play a pivotal role in shaping the perception of Payhawk and driving business growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Brand strategy & Creative Vision: Develop and execute a bold, cohesive creative strategy that enhances Payhawk’s brand identity and drives awareness across all marketing channels.
- Campaign Leadership: Own the creative direction for all marketing campaigns, from concept to execution, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions to create innovative campaigns that resonate with our target audience and drive measurable results.
- Innovative Design Execution: Oversee the creation of all marketing assets, including digital, print, video, and motion design. Ensure that each piece of creative content is high-quality, on-brand, and effectively communicates Payhawk’s message.
- Brand Stewardship: Act as the guardian of Payhawk’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, both internal and external. Continuously evolve and refine our brand guidelines to maintain a fresh and relevant brand presence.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with regional marketing, product marketing, performance, SEO, web teams and non-marketing functions to align creative efforts with broader business objectives. Ensure that creative strategies are data-driven and contribute to overall business growth.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. Provide constructive feedback and support the professional development of your team members.
- Process Optimization: Streamline creative workflows and processes, integrating new tools and technologies (such as AI) to enhance efficiency and output quality. Regularly review and refine the design intake process to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of projects.
- Data-driven Creative Decisions: Leverage analytics and user feedback to inform creative decisions, optimizing campaigns and assets for maximum impact. Continuously test, iterate, and refine creative strategies to improve performance.
