About Clearing Customers:
Clearing customers are property managers in the Short-Term Rental industry. They range from individuals to large companies managing 1 to hundreds of listings on platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, and other Short-Term Rental Online Travel Agencies.
Role Overview:
As a Product Expert at Clearing, your role will be crucial in guiding our new clients through the initial stages of their journey with us. You will help them set up their account and provide a comprehensive training to maximize the benefits of our software. Your technical expertise and communication skills will be essential in delivering an exceptional onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial onboarding calls to set up client accounts.
- Provide detailed training sessions to ensure clients fully understand the functionality of Clearing’s software.
- Engage with clients through virtual meetings, emails, and support calls to address any questions or concerns during the onboarding process.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and the product team to ensure a cohesive onboarding strategy and continuous improvement of our processes.
- Pro-actively work with the marketing team to document the platform and ensure that clients have access to best in class knowledge articles.
- Accurately document client interactions and track onboarding progress in Salesforce to ensure a seamless experience.
Opportunity to Make an Impact:
This role offers the unique opportunity to work with a startup from its early stages and play a pivotal role in shaping the client onboarding experience and product knowledge. Your contributions will directly impact client retention and satisfaction. This position will grow into a Head Of Customer Success role.
Requirements:
- Extremley tech savvy.
- Strong understanding of data and software integrations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively guide clients through the onboarding process.
- Ability to work independently and proactively within a fast-paced startup environment.
- Previous experience in a technical support or onboarding role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with property management practices and tools is a plus.
- Understanding of accounting practices & industry tools (ie. Quickbooks, Xero, etc) is a bonus.
Metrics for Success:
- Client retention rate (aiming for 1+ years).
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) and positive reviews regarding the onboarding process.
- Low churn rate among newly onboarded clients.
