Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile and experienced Full Stack Java/Spring Boot Developer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to develop, implement, and optimize web applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with bonus points for prior work in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-End Development: Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using modern front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React).
• Back-End Development: Design and implement scalable back-end services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Database Management: Work with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure robust data management and storage solutions.
• Microservices Architecture: Develop and manage microservices using Spring Boot and related technologies (e.g., Spring Cloud, Spring Security).
• API Development: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring robust and secure integration with front-end components and third-party systems.
• DevOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and manage application infrastructure using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices in all aspects of application development, including data protection, authentication, and authorization.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
• Testing and Debugging: Implement automated testing and debugging processes to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Healthcare Focus: Utilize your knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance and enhance the user experience.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks, continuously seeking opportunities to improve skills and project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack Java/Spring Boot development. Previous experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
  • Strong experience with back-end development using Java and Spring Boot, including Spring Cloud and Spring Security.
  • Knowledge of database management with both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium).
  • Understanding of security best practices in application development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
