The Role
At Veeva Systems, an integration manager will play a critical role in connecting the dots between our innovative cloud-based solutions and the broader enterprise technology landscape of our data suppliers. You'll harness your expertise in programming, API protocols, and middleware platforms to design, implement, and maintain seamless integration architectures that bring together Veeva's SafeMine application to run smoothly on our data suppliers' hosting sites.
What You'll Do
- Own and lead Veeva data integrations with external data suppliers from start to finish
- Collaborate with suppliers, PMs, SREs, software engineers, and other internal teams to gather integration requirements and provide technical advice
- Maintain clear documentation and communication regarding integration processes, workflows, and troubleshooting guides
- Develop detailed designs for integrating Veeva's cloud-based solutions with third-party systems
- Ensure that integrations align with suppliers' business objectives and adhere to security policies and technical specifications
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest enhancements
- Contribute to the development of internal best practices
Requirements
- Cloud Technologies – proven experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing integration projects, including timeline management
- 5+ years of significant customer-facing experience, ability to present to security and compliance customer teams, proven communication skills
- Experience with REST, SOAP, and other API protocols
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and git version control system
Nice to Have
- Good understanding of security protocols
- Experience with Kubernetes-based applications
- Computer science degree or equivalent
- Previous Linux System Admin experience
