We are seeking a motivated and skilled Intermediate Data Engineer, Analytics to join our data-driven team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining the data infrastructure that empowers our organization to make informed decisions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to transform raw data into actionable insights and drive business impact.
What you’ll be doing:
- Data Modeling and Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize data pipelines to transform large and diverse datasets from various sources.
- Data Warehouse Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and availability.
- ETL Processes: Implement and refine Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes with a focus on Transformations.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to prepare data that help build meaningful insight for product and business.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve the performance and scalability of data pipelines and warehouse infrastructure.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, pipelines, and processes for effective knowledge transfer.
- Collaboration: Work effectively within a cross-functional team, partnering with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to achieve shared goals.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, or a similar role.
- Proven proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R).
- Strong experience in Data Modeling, ETL tools (e.g., dbt) and data warehousing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of machine learning principles.
- Contributions to open-source data projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
