Job Description:

Role Overview:

As the Chief Revenue Officer / Head of Monetization at Pixels.xyz, you will play a crucial role in shaping our monetization strategy and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying and executing quick wins, building and leading a monetization team, and developing innovative revenue models that align with our unique web3 ecosystem. Your expertise in monetization from leading gaming companies will be instrumental in optimizing our game and maximizing our financial potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive monetization strategy for Pixels.xyz, focusing on both short-term wins and long-term growth.
• Identify low-hanging fruit and quick-win opportunities to immediately boost revenue.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing monetization team, fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and analytics, to align monetization efforts with overall business goals.
• Analyze user data, on-chain data, demographic information, play-styles, and behaviors to tailor monetization strategies to specific user segments.
• Leverage your experience from leading gaming companies (e.g., Scopely, EA, Zynga, Slots Games, Appsflyer) to drive best practices and innovative approaches.
• Own the monetization product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry trends.
• Report directly to the CEO and be a key member of the executive team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior monetization role within a top-tier gaming company (e.g., Scopely, EA, Zynga, Slots Games, Appsflyer).
• Strong track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing monetization strategies.
• Expertise in data analysis and the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
• Experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
• Deep understanding of the gaming industry, particularly free-to-play and web3 gaming models.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and disruption in the gaming industry.
