We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payments, fintech, and/or creator industry sales and/or business development, with 3-5 years of experience in sales process management for creator platforms.
As a Sales Engineer, you will nurture sales leads, modify presentations, refine business cases, gather necessary documentation though closing, etc. In short, you will be responsible for the business development pipeline from the middle of the funnel on down. No cold calling.
You should understand various platforms in the creator industry, have basic technical knowledge for API integration discussions, and be able to foster strong relationships with our prospects. Your role will be crucial in ensuring as many creators as possible use our financial services.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Help define sales process for our growing organization.
- Customize sales presentations and communications as necessary, being the key touch point for the prospect from middle of sales funnel through closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, key clients, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Conduct market research to inform sales presentations, stay updated on industry trends, and competitor activities.
Technical Expertise:
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure our solutions meet client needs and industry standards.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of sales and/or business development experience in the payments, fintech, and/or creator industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of platforms that serve creators (this can be industry specific ie: music platforms).
- Understanding of creator banking and payout solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
