Summary:
We are seeking a data analyst to maximize the value of our platform to our industry-leading professional sports team partners. This involves directly managing relationships with and supporting our partners by delivering on their priorities and diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving key questions via careful review of their business data. As one of our early hires, you will have a tremendous impact on our partner outcomes, work closely with our engineering and data science teams in addressing feature requests, and establish key processes for our industry-leading Demand Analytics software platform. The ideal candidate enjoys analyzing data to answer questions and build organizational capability.
Job Functions:
- Support partners in successfully delivering on their priorities, platform setup, and overall management of data and modeled deliverables.
- Triage, investigate, and resolve data- and deliverable-related requests across our tech stack, ranging from ETL to modeling processes.
- Perform and own ad-hoc analyses to support data and model calibration processes for our partners.
- Work with product, engineering, and data science teams to develop new features focused on platform calibration.
- Establish and improve internal processes via writing documentation and building internal tools in order to help scale implementation and support functions.
- Help build a collaborative culture focused on ownership and empathy for our customers.
- Provide input on product development, demand modeling, data collection, data architecture, front-end development, and general business strategy.
Requirements:
- One to four years experience in data analytics, statistical analytics, marketing analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases and spreadsheets (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets).
- Experience with programming languages R and Python.
- Experience with BI software (e.g. Tableau) is a plus.
- Experience working with and managing project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
- Experience with ticket pricing and sales forecasting decisions and interacting with relevant organizational stakeholders, such as Business Strategy and Analytics, Ticket Operations, Ticket Sales, and Marketing functions, is a plus.
- Knowledge of sports, concert, or ticketing industries is a plus.
- Possess excellent reasoning, problem-solving, creative thinking, and communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meaningfully generate value in an entrepreneurial environment.
