Senior Node JS Developer

Role:

Develop cutting-edge server-side code using Node.js on AWS cloud using the latest serverless technologies.
Technical specification and development of microservices architecture-based technical solutions.
Your code will support video streaming products delivered to potentially millions of users
Optimize for performance, stability, and cost management at cloud scale
Keep up to date on the latest industry trends and technology updates
Take ownership of features and changes on the product/platform being worked on with minimal supervision.
Proactively monitor and ensure production system uptime by implementing alerts and adding additional metrics during feature development.

Experience Required:

5+ years of Experience in building high-traffic APIs.
3 or more years of experience in server-side web systems and middleware software development in a premium engineering services or product engineering organization
Hands-on development experience using JavaScript on the Server Side with Node.js and associated frameworks.
Hands-on experience in AWS Lambda, Dynamodb, and Elasticsearch.
A solid understanding of DNS, networking, storage, operating/browser systems, infrastructure engineering as well as application/software system performance optimisation and third-party systems integration.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code pattern
Experience in working with SonarQube or any other code quality analysis tools
Experience in JIRA and Confluence
Excellent command over the English language
Experience in Agile, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development
