Overview of the Department/Section

The Engineering department at our organization is dedicated to analyzing, designing, developing, and delivering high-quality product requirements to meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Main Purpose of the Role

Backend Developers are pivotal in ensuring that our website performs optimally by focusing on databases, backend logic, application programming interfaces (APIs), architecture, and servers. Their core responsibilities include the development of server-side logic, maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality, detailed designs for backend architecture.
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle.
Proactively communicate with clients to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
Maintain and update existing applications to enhance functionality and process flow.
Manage technical documentation related to application architecture, code, and procedures.
Integrate third-party APIs seamlessly.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Implement robust security and data protection measures.

Skills and Experience

Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Proficiency in various JavaScript web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
Knowledge of Microservice Architecture is advantageous.
Familiarity with front-end technologies is beneficial.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and code debugging skills.
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with cloud technologies is a plus.
