About the Position

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the systems that power our platform, with a focus on both frontend and backend development. Your role will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure our platform is reliable, scalable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect brand-new software solutions to fulfill project requirements
• Create, design, and implement layouts for new as well as existing web and mobile pages
• Create and maintain database designs for data storage and processing
• Maintain legacy code written by other developers, including bug fixes
• Integrate external software libraries and APIs into existing projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain web + mobile applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Help scale our platform as we expand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience developing Ruby on Rails web applications
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
• Excellent knowledge of front-end web programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, with ability to render server-side and client-side content.
• 3+ years of experience with common web & mobile development tools and services, such as version control software, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with common programming design patterns and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, SASS, HTML components, and slim templates
• 3+ years of working experience with native mobile application development (iOS/ Android)
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Strong knowledge of and experience with database systems, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g. Redis)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with Health Tech
