Software Engineer - 4 Day Work Week - Remote

StoriiCare is an easy to use EHR platform to help Senior Care providers offer the best care possible.

Our team is fully distributed - we are looking for team members who are comfortable with and motivated by the opportunity to work remotely.

Successful applicants will join the team of a fast moving start-up, working with the existing software engineering team on the StoriiCare platform.

The applicant will be developing a complex application to serve thousands of daily users. The applicant will work on core functionality, supporting services, testing and creation of API’s.

• You'll be working in an agile team responsible for building UIs and tools for making web apps by utilizing modern technologies and solutions like TypeScript & React.
• You'll write well designed, testable, readable and scalable code in accordance to clean code principles and team agreement
• You'll take proactive ownership of tasks and see them through to completion, and take responsibility for coding, bug testing, general software deployment, and tracking the product through its lifecycle, along with communicating with other team members
• You'll regularly contribute to discussions and brainstorm high quality ideas that result in adoption and improvements
• You'll proactively share knowledge and help your team evolve

The ideal candidate will have:

• Good written and verbal communication in English
• Knowledge of PHP
• Knowledge of State Management Frameworks such as MobX
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and React
• Good understanding of CSS
• Experience with Linux
• Good understanding of web services, ideally with experience creating a web services API.
• Object Oriented programming experience
• Experience working with frameworks and third party libraries
• Exposure to third party API’s
• Basic knowledge of web security
• Basic knowledge of AWS
• Experience with version control (git)

We care strongly about work-life balance and are a fully remote team. Whilst require our development team to operate in European time zones - you may live anywhere with a strong internet connection.
