Full Stack Developer Intern

Momentum-E is an AI-driven battery analytics and fleet management platform to help EV fleets better understand battery health and optimize TCO. We work with fleets to enable their seamless transition to EVs by optimizing charging, reducing costs, and extending battery life. We have built proprietary ML models to understand the degradation in the battery, predict its life, and optimize charging based on driving and usage patterns. Our team has over 40 years experience in EVs, SaaS and data analytics.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.
2. Assist in the implementation of front-end and back-end features using modern technologies such as JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and Python/Django.
3. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and best practices are maintained.
4. Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces and enhance user experience.
5. Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize application performance and ensure seamless functionality across different browsers and devices.
6. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing technical skills and knowledge.
8. Document codebase, processes, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain project documentation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in front-end development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries such as React.js.
3. Familiarity with back-end development concepts and technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, and relational/non-relational databases.
4. Basic understanding of server-side languages like Python and web frameworks like Django or Flask is a plus.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate ideas and solutions.
7. Prior internship or project experience in web development is preferred.
8. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
