We are currently looking for an accomplished and versatile financial professional to fill the combined role of Controller/CFO. If retained you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting, corporate finance, and strategic financial management functions of the company. This role requires strong technical accoung skills, a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and corporate finance, as well as exceptional leadership and communication skills.
*Responsibilities: *
- Function as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the executive team, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making and drive the company's financial success.
- Oversee the financial accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Develop and maintain financial models and analytical tools to support strategic planning, investment analysis, and capital allocation decisions.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and risk management activities to optimize liquidity, mitigate financial risks, and ensure efficient capital utilization.
- Conduct financial analysis, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate investment opportunities and drive profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital structuring, and business expansion.
- Provide leadership and development to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.
- Oversee financial compliance, ensuring adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial leadership role, preferably combined with CFO responsibilities.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, financial analysis, and corporate finance.
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with the ability to align financial goals with overall company objectives.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in corporate finance roles, such as capital structuring, investment analysis, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably within a high-growth organization.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software applications.
