The Role

Hey!

We have just closed our Pre-Seed round of $500K with a renowned VC. We've only been operating since August. Both Co-Founders have previous exits 8 figure exits too. We plan on raising $5M Seed round by EOY 2024! Our Q1 was gang busters, but we need a sales leader to help scale this rocket ship!

Boom is reinventing the way to buy, sell, and invest in small businesses by creating an end-to-end platform powered by proprietary AI technology with an innovative approach called 'succession as a service. Our mission is to help every American achieve financial freedom and to make business ownership simple and accessible for everyone.

Job Overview:

We're looking for a sales and business development allstar who has experience in a startup and thrives on uncertainty. Someone who is obsessed with solving problems and wants to build a defining company in an old school industry. Selling small businesses are really hard, especially when you're selling their company. We need someone who has a particular tenacity and will not take no for an answer. You're a leader and hate losing more than you like winning. Why? Because you expect to win.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualify inbound leads

Work alongside Co-Founders to build out a scalable sales process

Travel to meet clients and lead our Succession as a Service model

Educate and persuade prospects on the unique value proposition of our succession as a service product

Handle objections effectively, maintaining a positive attitude and a high level of energy throughout numerous rejections.

Consistently follow up with leads and maintain an organized pipeline for efficient sales process management.

Communicate clear feedback to the co-founders on market trends, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.

Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and industry knowledge.

Requirements:

You're a hustler, and willing to work like an animal

You want to be a 7-figure earner, nothing less

Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.

Need to have experience in-person selling as you will be visiting our clients all over the country

Excellent verbal and written communication

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in cold-calling, and/or in-person sales selling to small businesses

Basic understanding of M&A industry and small business operations is a plus.
