Personal Assistant to Noah Kagan (Contract)

Contract - 30 hours per week

Why this is your dream job:

As Noah Kagan’s Personal Assistant, your primary responsibility is to facilitate his day-to-day efficiency and manage his personal and professional commitments. This role requires a deep understanding of Noah's objectives and the ability to operate at the heart of entrepreneurial activity. You will also occasionally support the Chief of Staff at AppSumo, helping to manage some administrative tasks within the company. This dual role will provide rich exposure to high-level strategic planning and personal management.

• Oversee and manage household projects, ensuring they are completed timely and report on progress.
• Arrange and confirm personal appointments, travel plans, and manage household tasks with a focus on high standards and privacy.
• Execute personal errands and tasks with an emphasis on discretion and efficiency.
• Directly manage Noah Kagan's personal schedule and engagements, working with the AppSumo Executive Assistant to ensure efficient time management and conflict resolution.
• Assist the Chief of Staff with AppSumo administrative tasks as needed, ensuring operational fluidity and organizational alignment.

First Three Months Goals:

• Fully integrate into Noah's daily operations, achieving seamless management of his schedule and responsibilities.
• Establish a robust system for managing Noah’s personal demands, ensuring that his strategic focus is maximized.
• Provide effective support to the AppSumo Chief of Staff, enhancing the efficiency of administrative processes.

Past experience:

• You have previous experience in a personal assistant role supporting C-level.
• You are organized and plan ahead, but you don't get stressed out when things change at the last minute - because they will.
• You're unfazed - when everyone else is getting stressed or excited, you keep your cool.
• You have high emotional intelligence, acute attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in G-suite and other management software, with a typing speed of at least 80 words per minute.
• Availability from 9-5 CT, with the flexibility to handle communication during evenings and weekends as needed.
• This is an Austin-based position.
