Jitera, inc. is a startup company from Japan that makes software to automate the development of mobile and web applications. Our product can be called as No-Code, Low-Code, and code generator. By using our product, customers can develop software 10 times faster.
It’s under development with a lot of tries and errors, but the number of applications developed with our product is increasing, and in fact, there is a case where a mobile application was developed about 10 times faster than usual.
As the characteristics of our company, we are a team of professionals working remotely, and we have a track record of significant growth over the past year in terms of revenue, product development, and team members.
Job Overview
Our business is growing steadily, so we are expanding our human resources team to seek awesome and professional talents globally. We are looking for HRBP for our Japan region who will play an important role and will be key players of success going forward.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop HR strategies aligned with Jitera's business objectives.
- Employee Relations:
- Handle employee relations, providing guidance and support for a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations and resolve issues to ensure fair and compliant outcomes.
- Work with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and support talent acquisition.
- Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Manage performance appraisal systems and provide coaching to managers.
- Develop and update HR policies in compliance with Japanese labor laws.
- Conduct audits to ensure policy adherence and address any compliance issues.
- Compensation and Benefits:.
- Manage compensation negotiations and ensure equity in pay practices.
- Utilize HRIS for data analysis and reporting on key HR metrics.
- Provide insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
- Lead HR initiatives during organizational changes and communicate effectively with employees.
- Implement change management strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain morale.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR initiatives support overall business goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on people-related matters.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven 3-5 years of work experience as a Human Resources Specialist/HRBP
- Knowledge of Japanese Labour Laws
- Ability to manage HR projects such as implementing new HRIS systems, designing training programs, etc.
- Experience in talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making aptitude.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced information technology environment.
- Comfortable in working 100% remotely and independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in the English language is a must.
