We are reinventing the world of commuter benefits for riders, employees, and transit agencies. Through direct partnerships with providers and thoughtfully-designed technology, our work increases economic access and reduces carbon from private vehicles in our cities.

We manage benefits for more than a hundred thousand people with unique products for employees, organization admins, and transit agencies – including our Unified Transit Benefits platform and the Jawnt Pass. We partner directly with transit agencies in Philadelphia and are scaling to new cities.

Job brief

Jawnt is looking for an analytically-minded person to join our team as Manager of Business Operations and Strategy. In this role, you will work across functions to design and implement strategy, and operationalize best practices. You will primarily work directly with the Founders.

Note: while Jawnt is a remote-first company, this role is based in Philadelphia where we have a hybrid work location.

Responsibilities

• Operations: organization and ownership of end-to-end back-office processes across disciplines such as Finance, HR, Sales and Marketing, and Customer Success
• Strategy / Finance: working with Founders to manage financial model, forecasts, and monthly / quarterly / and annual reporting. Supporting fundraising and investor relations as needed. Competitive benchmarking. Development and execution of pricing strategy.
• Billing / Accounting: managing key relationships with Accounting partner, Clients, and Vendors
• Sales / Marketing: managing pipeline and forecasting in Hubspot. Creating playbooks, battlecards, and campaigns with Sales team.
• Customer Success: working with team to streamline onboarding and ongoing engagement with Clients
• General: Encouraging positive company culture and passion for transit
• Other projects, as required

Desired experience

• Strong business acumen and high level of interpersonal skills
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, or other equivalent professional training
• A track record of successfully ideating and implementing new processes within an organization
• Prior experience in early stage (pre-Series B) B2B startups
• Expert ability to synthesize and present concepts - in slides, in writing, and verbally
• Expert competency in Excel
• Knowledge of SQL or other analytical tools (eg., Power BI, Tableau)
