Job Title: IT Specialist Expert (Part-Time)
Schedule: Monday to Thursday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Duration: 24 Months Location: Corning Tower, Rm 2378, Albany, NY 12237
Hourly Wage Range: $50 to $55 per hour

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Information Technology, demonstrating expertise in utilizing and supporting various development platforms, technical architectures, and business applications beyond basic programming skills.
• Possesses 84+ months of experience, capable of offering guidance to large teams or boasting extensive industry knowledge, recognized as a leader in the field.
• Holds 72 months of experience in gathering, documenting, and monitoring changes to functional and technical requirements for advanced Access/Oracle Databases.
• Exhibits 84 months of proficiency in gathering requirements, and developing and testing custom queries in MS Access/Oracle.
• Demonstrates 84 months of proficiency in gathering requirements, and developing and testing customized reports in MS Access/Oracle.
• Possesses 72 months of experience in application maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for MS Access/Oracle systems.
• Accumulates 48 months of experience working directly on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) at the NYS health exchange or other state or Federal health exchanges.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

• Engage in technical design, development, testing, and optimization of comprehensive MS Access/Oracle databases.
• Interact with users to troubleshoot issues and gather requirements effectively.
• Monitor and document changes to functional and technical specifications meticulously.
• Design, develop, and rigorously test enhancements, interfaces, workflows, reports, and conduct data conversions.
• Contribute to the development of training materials related to the Access database implementation for users.
