Staff System Engineer (Data Center Facilities Engineering)

The DCFE (Data Center Facility Engineering) team standardizes IT facilities (server rooms) such as Coupang's data center/office/logistics center/delivery camp, and carries out operation management work after design and construction. Coupang's amazing services, such as rocket delivery, are essentially based on IT, and it plays an important role in taking responsibility for all facilities so that this IT infrastructure can operate stably and continuously.

Coupang's amazing services, such as rocket delivery and e-commerce innovation, are based on world-class IT and must be able to accommodate various infrastructures and operate stably. The DCFE team performs strategic planning, design, construction, maintenance operation, supply chain management, and consulting to maintain the highest quality and uninterrupted operation of Coupang's data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform IDC & server room design, construction, operation, and expansion work in Taiwan

• Coverage: IDCs / Offices / Fulfillment Centers in Taiwan

• Mission-critical performance for uninterrupted operation of global data center infrastructure

• Operational management such as data center-related global standardization and SLA/SOP

• FMS (Facility Management System) operation management

• IDC / facility / integrated maintenance contract and resource / asset management in Taiwan

• IDC supply research and operation consulting in Taiwan

• Operational reporting and incident control in Taiwan

Basic Qualifications:

• More than 10 years of experience in Facility Engineering

• Skills in building and operating management of IT facilities (electrical/mechanical/air-conditioning, etc.)

• Level of knowledge capable of IDC consulting

• Person with project leading experience and communication skills

• Available for domestic/overseas business trips

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possesses relevant professional qualifications (air conditioning/refrigeration mechanical engineer, electrician, etc.)

• Experience in designing and building facility infrastructure such as large-scale IDC, office, factory or logistics center

• Experienced in AutoCAD

• Business-related Korean/English communication skills and office documentation and presentation skills

• Korean Speaking skill is a plus
