Job Brief:

As the Telemedicine Business Development Officer, you will be instrumental in propelling the expansion and advancement of our telemedicine services (RxGO Dr), RxDiagnostic and RxHMO. Your primary duties will encompass the identification and acquisition of new partnerships within the healthcare landscape, including healthcare providers, payers, and other strategic collaborators. Additionally, you will be tasked with crafting and implementing highly effective sales strategies, while nurturing robust relationships with key stakeholders.

This role is both dynamic and challenging, requiring a profound comprehension of the telemedicine industry's intricacies, as well as possessing strong business acumen and impeccable communication and relationship-building skills. Specifically, you will drive strategies to enroll over 25,000 patients for RxGO Dr, with a corresponding sales goal of exceeding 30 million naira, 10 million naira for RxDiagnostic, and 35 million naira for RxHMO by December 2024.

*Duties and Responsibilities: *

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue growth targets by collaborating with the sales and marketing team to develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to promote RxGO Dr and Rxdiagnostics effectively in the B2C market segment.

  2. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Utilize insights to redefine RxGO Dr and Rxdiagnostics sales tactics and capitalize on growth opportunities.

  3. Customer Acquisition: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the healthcare industry, focusing on hospitals, clinics, health systems, payers, and other relevant organizations. Drive customer acquisition efforts to expand our customer base and sales. Negotiate and close contracts with new partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.

  4. Product Promotion: Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to promote RxGO Dr and Rxdiagnostics, utilizing various channels such as digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and direct mail. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that articulate the value proposition of our telemedicine solutions.

  5. Sales Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales teams to ensure they have a deep understanding of our products and are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to effectively sell RxGO Dr and Rxdiagnostics.

  6. Performance Tracking: Create and monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize sales performance.

  7. Technology: Access the product flow and suggest a workable product process and the right interface that will assist users to have a seamless experience.

  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within partner organizations.

  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to telemedicine.

  10. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure a seamless sales experience for partners.

  11. Analyze market data and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and develop competitive strategies.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with CRM software and sales methodologies
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Travel may be required

*Qualifications and Experience Required: *

  • A Degree in Pharmacy, Business Management or Marketing preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in a similar role building and managing a pharmacy chain
  • Must show proof of experience doing the above for existing retail chains and outlets across Nigeria
  • Experience with business to consumer sales techniques
  • Ability to initiate and generate new leads across the country
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and management skills
  • Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Solid history of data-driven strategic development
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of success in exceeding sales targets and growing new business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Deep understanding of the telemedicine landscape and its value proposition.
  • Experience working with healthcare providers, payers, and other relevant stakeholders is a plus.
