Position Overview:

As a founding team member, the Founding Team Member & Principal Data Scientist at Averroes.ai will play a pivotal role in building out our team, participating fundraising efforts, and engaging with customers. This multifaceted role extends beyond technical expertise to encompass leadership, strategic vision, and a passion for driving meaningful impact in the semiconductor industry through AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

Building Out the Core Technology and Innovation: Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI algorithms and solutions tailored to semiconductor manufacturing applications. Drive innovation across the entire technology stack, from data acquisition and preprocessing to model training and deployment.

Building Out the Team: Collaborate with company leadership to recruit and onboard top talent across various functions, including engineering, data science, sales, and operations. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.

Customer Engagement: Engage with existing and potential customers to understand their needs, challenges, and pain points. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights, recommendations, and solutions to drive value and enhance customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, fostering loyalty and advocacy for Averroes.ai's products and services.

Requirements:

Deep Understanding of Computer Vision and Deep Learning: Demonstrated expertise in computer vision and deep learning techniques, with a strong theoretical foundation and practical experience in developing and deploying algorithms for image analysis, object detection, classification, and segmentation tasks.

Multi-Modal Architecture: Experience designing and implementing multi-modal architectures that integrate information from diverse sources, such as images, text, sensor data, and other modalities. Familiarity with fusion techniques, attention mechanisms, and other methods for combining information from heterogeneous data streams.
