Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Full Stack Engineer - Team Lead who will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions, both on the back-end and front-end, as well as ensuring seamless integration between the two. The Full Stack Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in agile development, sprint planning, and code reviews. Ideal candidate must be located on the East Cost of the USA as they will be responsible for communicating with European development team while establishing and managing US-based team, possibly on the West Coast.
Qualifications
- Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills: Javascript, Node.JS
- Back-End Web Development skills: PHP/Laravel
- Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) skills
- Experience using programming languages such as JavaScript, VUE, and Node.js
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and TimeScaleDB
- Experience with self-hosting on Linux Cloud platforms
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development
- Good understanding of micro-services based on Kafka, Redis, TimescaleDB over PostgreSQL.
- Monitoring using Grafana
- Team player: anything is up for discussion, after discussion you make sure we execute what we discussed!
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Experience working on IoT projects or within the transportation industry is a plus
