QA Engineer II

From booking a taxi to shopping to even finding a life-partner, technology today is playing a role which is indistinguishable from magic. Role:
You will work closely with engineering team and product team to identify, document and iron out bugs in the product. We sincerely believe that behind every successful product there is a careful QA team. Hence you will have a significant role to play in stable and quality product releases.

Your specific responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of test plans and automated testing efforts for the CollPoll APIs and web platform
• Develop test plans for the android and iOS apps and build automated functional tests for the applications
• Research and investigate new automation technologies
• Work closely with development and product team to ensure smooth and timely releases
• Work closely with development team to ensure fast,efficient and stable builds by integrating tests into the release process
• Diagnose functional issues, report bugs, and take ownership of issue resolution

Required Experience
• 3 - 4 years of experience in enterprise software testing

Required Technical Qualifications:

• Strong product understanding capabilities
• Strong Test planning and Test cases creation and management capabilities • Solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and methodology, as well as knowledge of object oriented design principles. • Knowledge of modern best practices for professional software development including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. • Strong organizational and problem solving skills with great attention to detail, including the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results. • Experience with mobile testing tools like Appium would be a big plus • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills. • Experience with but not limited to JUnit/TestNG, JBehave (or other BDD framework), Selenium, mock objects, AntHill Pro, Cobertura and JDepends a plus. • Experience with load testing and knowledge of load testing tools like Jmeter would be a plus.
