Senior Python Engineer

At Events.com (former Evensi), we’re looking for experienced engineers who can tap their deep knowledge and experience with Python and SQL to extend and innovate our stack.

A Typical Week

• You'll collaborate with Software Engineering to build exciting new features for our event creators and attendees
• You'll learn about new technologies and discuss potential solutions to problems
• You'll help our talented support team triage bugs and troubleshoot production issues
• You’ll review code, mentor others, and apply your experience where needed

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with Python
• Develop services in FastAPI python framework;
• Advanced SQL
• Ability to make productive use of the *nix environment and/or bash shell
• Working with containerized application (Docker);
• Strong understanding of ReST themes
• Strong understanding of DI-oriented coding

Bonus Points

• Experience with Git
• Experience with PHP
• Experience with React.js
• Experience with, or interest in, containerization
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Experience with Tornado
• Experience with Airflow
• Experience with AWS
• Strong understanding of the microservice architecture
