Grant Writer (Commission-Based)

Seeking a grant writer to apply to grants. We have a populated grants calendar and templates for our mission statement, evaluation plant, financial position, and questions. We are seeking an individual who can tailor the templates for each grant application.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive narratives
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficient in understanding and interpreting budgets and financial documents
• Familiarity with grant writing
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
• Knowledge of various grant application platforms and tools

Responsibilities

• Proposal Development: Develop well-structured, persuasive, and concise grant proposals that effectively communicate the organization's goals, needs, and impact
• Tailor proposals to meet specific requirements of each funding opportunity
• Collaboration: Work closely with various teams within the organization to gather necessary information and data for grant proposals
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential funders
• Reporting: Provide updates on the status of grant applications and maintain records of submissions, approvals, and rejections
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all requirements and guidelines set forth by funding agencies

• This is a 10% commission-based role, where your compensation will be directly tied to the grants you successfully secure for the organization
• Pay: Estimated $44,766.43 - $53,912.26 per year
