Website Developer - Webflow

About the Role

We are seeking a Webflow Developer responsible for 5X and GravityData Website development which is hosted on Webflow. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, colour and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality on 5X and GravityData Webflow websites.
• Iterating and improving website architecture.
• Establishing, building and maintaining a CMS.
• Translating designs into responsive pages.
• Working within an Agile environment.
• Working with multiple website stakeholders from Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR and the Product.
• Iterate at speed, thinking in hours rather than days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 Years of professional experience with Web development with most of it on Webflow is a must
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}Ability to integrate forms and configure 3rd party plugins.
• Ability to setup and test popular tracking tools such as Google Analytics and Heap Analytics.
• Ability to understand and resolve existing pagespeed bottlenecks.
• Ability to work with complex Website Animations.
