About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our Solutions Engineering team. This role combines the technical depth of backend Python development with the creativity and user-focused aspects of frontend development. As a Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with our clients and internal teams to integrate our powerful product discovery solutions—such as search, recommendations, and category browse services—into customer web pages using our JavaScript SDK and React. You will also play a key role in mentoring the team and gathering requirements to deliver optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development:
Ingest, process, and transform incoming product feeds in formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON using Python.
Clean and validate data, discard malformed data, and transform it into JSON format for internal use.
Integrate data pipelines with APIs to ensure the seamless flow of data into our feed servers.
Automate and optimize feed processing tasks for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Frontend Development:
Develop, maintain, and enhance user-facing components using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
Use Unbxd's frontend SDKs in JavaScript and React to integrate our search, recommendation, and category browse services into customer web pages.
Customize and optimize frontend components for performance and a seamless user experience.

Technical Leadership and Mentorship:
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
Conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards are met, and assist in upskilling the team in both backend and frontend development.

Client Engagement and Solutions Engineering:
Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements, understand their needs, and provide expert recommendations for integrating Unbxd's services into their e-commerce platforms.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to design and implement tailored solutions that align with customer goals.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Monitor data processing pipelines and integration points, identify issues, and proactively troubleshoot to ensure smooth operations.
Continuously optimize and improve the efficiency of data flow and user interactions.

Key Requirements:
Backend Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data parsing, processing, and transformation.
Knowledge of REST APIs, data integration, and automation of data processing pipelines.
Experience with data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV.

Frontend Skills:
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
Experience with integrating frontend SDKs and optimizing client-side performance.
Understanding of responsive design principles and user experience optimization.

Technical Leadership:
Previous experience in mentoring or leading a technical team.
Strong communication skills to effectively work with customers and internal teams to gather requirements and provide solutions.

Problem-Solving and Collaboration:
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in both backend and frontend environments.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with e-commerce platforms and understanding the nuances of product search, recommendations, and browsing services.
Familiarity with cloud services and deployment pipelines.
