Job Description:
Perform research to obtain and expand existing mapping stack and maps database build,
manipulate, and update maps databases Create maps APIs to be used by internal partner teams.
Consider the requirements and constraints for a given problem or project to come up with
approaches and mapping solutions for them, Take up responsibilities of analyzing, testing and
improving algorithm to make them more robust and accurate, Coordinate and involve within
team and with partner team to come up with technically feasible and innovation solutions for
the challenging tasks.
Skills:
Languages: C++, Python, XML.
Intermediate to advanced level experience working with SD, Occupancy grid maps,
graph based maps and HD maps.
Experience working on mapping sensors like Lidar, Camera, Radar, IMU, GPS
Experience working on Filters (Bayesian or Particle) , SLAM algorithms and Mapping
Techniques along with 3D pose estimation on sensors data.
Experience working with matching algorithms (Scan or Feature based such as ndt, icp
and registration etc.,) using PointCloud or Image data.
Experience working with lead map service providers like OpenStreet maps, Vector
Map(ADASv2.0), Lanelet/Lanelet2, Opendrive etc.
Map Annotations data processing digitization Feature Extraction Experience in Spatial
data creation, edition, and management.
OS and Platform : Linux, ROS/ROS2.
Good to Have:
Probabilistic robotics, probabilistic filtering and nonlinear optimization.
Loop closure techniques, optimization techniques.
Unit testing, ros testing, CI/CD, Docker, git.
