About the job

You will be coming in as a full-cycle Account Executive. Our goal for the next six months is to prove repeatability at the top of the funnel. This means that you will be responsible for new opportunity creation along with closing new business. You will have support with sequences and contact data along with a nuanced top of funnel playbook including sales operations and marketing operations. This job will evolve to a full time closing position.

Role Overview

As an Account Executive at Squint, you will be responsible for identifying and creating interest within target accounts as outlined by Squint. You will need to understand their pain points, demonstrate the value of our solutions, and ultimately close deals. You will work in a dynamic start-up environment and collaborate with a highly motivated team to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities within the manufacturing vertical. Generate leads through research, networking, and attending industry events, aiming to build a strong pipeline.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand the specific needs and challenges of prospective clients in the manufacturing space. Demonstrate how Squint’s platform can solve the challenges within our prospect's business.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers in target accounts. Leverage your network and communication skills to create a positive impression of Squint.
  • Sales Cycles and Negotiations: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals. Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both clients and Squint.
  • Revenue Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets set by the company, consistently achieving revenue objectives and contributing to the overall growth of the organization
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the training and manufacturing space. Leverage this knowledge to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations to the team.
  • Self-Driven Approach: Demonstrate a proactive and self-starter attitude. Take initiative in generating your own pipeline of leads and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Account Executive experience: Proven success in a sales role, preferably selling into the Manufacturing industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with potential clients and convey the value proposition of Squint’s platform.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand clients' needs, analyze data, and tailor solutions to address specific pain points.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills to drive successful deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic start-up environment and be open to adapt to changes and challenges.
  • Self-Motivation: A self-driven individual who can work independently and take the initiative to generate leads and drive sales.
