About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to shape our growing Engineering team at Parabola. You’ll play a pivotal role in evolving both our product and our team by hiring and developing our engineering team, and leading the technical direction of our product.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own delivery of best-in-class product experience and set the bar for engineering excellence.
• Attract and hire great engineers to Parabola. Own engineering hiring across organization and mentor other hiring managers.
• Manage and grow a diverse team of engineers, from full-stack to specialists to tech leads.
• Define, scale, and own team processes and practices that will serve us for years of growth and success.
• Partner with Product and Design leadership to set strategy and roadmap, and work with engineering leaders to set high-level technical direction in order to meet company goals.

What (we think) you’ll need to do it:

• 3+ years of management experience with high-output engineering teams, ideally in a fast-growing startup.
• Experienced hiring manager, with proven results in both scaling teams and individuals’ professional growth.
• Experience leading product development teams, from roadmap capacity planning to technical planning to products shipped, with a track record of consistently delivering business impact.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A desire to build an inclusive and diverse culture.

Nice to haves:

• Ideally experienced in both startups and later-stage companies, or have worked through a very similar stage in terms of scaling a small team and evolving processes accordingly.
• Experience building B2B SaaS products.
• Passion and drive to work in a quickly growing startup where you will help shape a growing organization and the ways we evolve our product.
• Excited to represent the engineering team in high-value customer conversations.

Salary Range: $200,000 - $230,000

*This salary range represents the minimum and maximum for this role based in San Francisco. The salary given for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including years of experience, interview performance and anticipated responsibilities of the role. Our base salary is one component of Parabola’s competitive total package, which also includes equity and premium health and wellness benefits. *
