Position Overview
As an Equity Research Instructor, you will teach, advise, and inspire some of the brightest minds in finance. Serving as a lead facilitator for classroom sessions, you’ll help clients master the skills and knowledge required to excel in equity research and investment roles. This role offers opportunities to hone your presentation and public speaking skills, establish yourself as a thought leader in financial services, and expand your professional network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead virtual classroom training sessions for equity research and investment research professionals.
- Deliver training programs to undergraduate business schools and MBA students.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of training materials, including:
- Editing existing course content.
- Designing new instructional materials.
- Conducting one-on-one tutoring sessions with students.
- Complete WSP’s Train-the-Trainer Program, a professional development initiative for new instructors.
Requirements
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience at a bulge bracket investment bank.
- At least 2+ additional years in equity research.
- Education:
- An MBA from a top business school is preferred but not required.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge about finance and investment banking.
- Strong expertise in accounting, financial modeling, and Excel.
- Availability & Flexibility:
- Available for training sessions Monday-Friday and on weekends as needed.
- Summer: Full weekday availability highly desirable.
- Fall/Spring: Weekday and weekend availability highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
