Android Developer (Remote)

QuickSell reaches its vast user base via an ever-increasing list of supported platforms including native Android and iOS apps, and desktop web applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Designs and codes features for the Android application as per the specifications provided by the Product and Design teams.
2. Ships feature fast-moving agile sprints.
3. Works closely with API, Product Design, and Product Management teams to brainstorm and chalk out details of features.
4. Experience working in large-scale multi-module apps.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Write unit tests for all features.

Must have:

1. Software Developer with at least 3 years of experience building Android platform apps.
2. Good understanding of memory management, network interaction, concurrency and

multi-threading in Android.

1. Good understanding of Kotlin.
2. Good understanding of Android application architecture and design.
3. Good understanding of clean architecture
4. Understanding complete application development, continuous integration & testing, and app distribution infrastructure.
5. Good understanding of Hilt.
6. Experience with jetpack components.

Good to have:

1. Experience working with React-Native
2. Open source contributions
3. A knack for benchmarking and optimisation
