This role is based in SF or NYC and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the Role
The Program Manager, People & Communities at Patreon will be responsible for executing on a strategy that builds an inclusive workplace culture and supports the growth and development of all team members. You will develop and implement programs and initiatives to help us hit our company representation goals and drive diversity, equity and inclusion strategy at Patreon. As a key member of the People & Communities team, you will report to the Head of Talent Programs & Partnerships and work closely with leaders, employees, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage budgets for DEI initiatives, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and learning & development program
Lead and facilitate Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to foster a sense of community and belonging among employees
Plan and organize events that promote DEI and inclusivity, such as diversity training workshops, cultural celebrations, and guest speaker series
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver training and development programs that drive employee development, and help infused equity into all people programs diversity, equity, and inclusion
Development and implementation of talent programs and initiatives in the areas of performance, manager development and capability building, etc.
Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent programs and initiatives
About You
4+ years of experience in program management, with a strong track record of designing and implementing successful programs and initiatives. Designing programs for a people team is a plus
Demonstrated understanding of DEI concepts and practices, including experience working with underrepresented groups and creating inclusive environments
Comfort with facilitating training for small or large groups, ability to pivot and navigate how to engage different types of learners
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
Ability to think strategically and pragmatically, with a focus on delivering results and driving impact
Passion for creating positive change, driving business outcomes, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
