Data Analyst - SQL and Power BI Expert

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst who is an expert in SQL and Power BI to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, creating and maintaining data visualizations, and generating insightful reports using SQL and Power BI. The Data Analyst will also work closely with business stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize complex data sets
• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business initiatives
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and cleansing
• Provide support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of reporting and analytics tools
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of data models and reporting solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, SQL programming, and Power BI development
• Strong understanding of database design and data modeling concepts
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration techniques
• Proven ability to develop effective data visualizations using Power BI
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and identify meaningful insights
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Assignment: Along with your application, please show us specific visual graphs and dashboards from PowerBI dashboard you have created. Ideally, the dashboard should address the needs of a SaaS and/or education startup, and customer-focused learnings. In the dashboard, we would like to see measurements on user actions, potential customer actions, and interrogating usage patterns of software (data would be used for anomaly detection, identifying confusion, and/or identifying where we need to investigate further).
