AI/ML Software Developer/Data Scientist sought for a Fintech/Climate tech company (NextGen AI & Satellite tech)

RIISE's (www.riise.ai) data analytics platform is using cutting-edge Satellite technologies and over 4m+ data sets to disrupt the $7.8 billion real estate data industry, unlocking previously inaccessible data, providing lenders with new portfolio insights and business intelligence at their fingertips. By aggregating large real estate data and documents into one centralised repository, RIISE’s geospatial analytics platform accelerates sustainability and financial strategies for Asset Owners, Investors, Lenders, and Insurers from months to seconds.

The role

An exciting opportunity to work for a growing startup in the Cimate Tech /Fintech space. We are looking for a senior AI/ML Software Developer to join our team, with the potential opportunity of becoming the CTO over time. (*If of interest please review compensation package below)

Ideally someone who is able to take on full responsibility for building innovative tech solutions for the company and work along side the managment team and CEO and CPO to build out the technology roadmap, including the AI and ML (TBD). You will lead in helping to build out the technology further, continuously drive innovation by proposing and building new features aligned with our customer needs, contributing to design and implement our data and artificial intelligence strategy (if desired).

We are looking for:

Strong knowledge/experience with:

• ML knowledge with PyTorch or TensorFlow, etc.
• AI Satellite Thermal imagery
• Python, Ruby on Rails, etc.
• LLM models
• Artificial Intelligence, building AI matching algorithms
• node.js
• MySQL
• Agile methodology using scrum, Kanban, etc.

• Track record building innovative tech solutions in a high performing culture and fast paced environment using agile methodologies and sprints, preferably in start-ups and scale ups.
• Excellent attitude, proactivity, flexibility and desire to influence the creation of an exciting, high growth potential and purpose driven business
• Desire to get upskilled in new technologies and languages Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Data science or a related field, preferably with strong academic background.

• Company Equity: providing a very attractive equity stake through the companies vested schedule, with a company current valuation of $3.5m+ and $5m post. (1-10% depending on experience)
• Salary: Ability to earn between $60k-100k+ a year, depending on experience (NOTE: salary will be provided upon raise, which is imminent)
