Research Scientist

Role Description
We are looking for machine learning researchers with experience in large language models and deep learning for natural language processing. The role focuses on pioneering and prototyping new approaches in building single-persona dialogue systems.

Responsibilities

• Develope and own a research agenda that is both ambitious and deliverable for dialogue systems, especially using the latest advancements in machine learning annd large language models.
• Research and prototype novel methods that can improve the end-to-end performance of dialogue systems.
• Work with machine learning engineers and product and infrastructure teams to to put research into production.
• Design projects for and mentor machine learnig researchers and interns.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in computer science, machine learning, natural language processing and/or related fields.
• Have experience with modern language models with relavent first-author publications.
• Familar with PyTorch, NVIDIA GPUs, and the relevant deep learning software stacks.
• Be comfortable working with large scale infrastructure for scaling up models and data.
• Can work with both research and product teams cross-functionally.
