We’re looking for a Product Manager to join the Ivy Product team as the Product Manager for our Resident Experience Team. In this role you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions that provide tangible value to customers, the business, and deliver outstanding user experiences. The Resident Experience Team has ownership of Ivy’s tenant-facing products and services including Ivy Solar Billing, Ivy Solar EV Billing, and will lead the development of our Tenant Portal and App. This position reports to the Senior Product Manager and works closely with the UX Design Manager and the Tech Lead to guide product discovery as well as supporting product development.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will be leading the product team by developing a product vision and strategy using quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions and by developing a deep understanding of the product, users, internal stakeholders, and the external market. You will be working with the larger product management team to establish product roadmaps and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with team and company OKRs. You will be documenting and communicating requirements to the team through user stories, supporting documentation, and acceptance criteria. You will also work with the UX manager to develop, execute, and analyze customer research, both qualitative and quantitative, to ensure we are providing value to end users and the business.
- Leading the Resident Experience Team in developing and driving short and long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap that ladders up to the company’s OKRs.
- Guiding the Resident Experience Team through the product development lifecycle, including the discovery, planning, design, development, and launch and learn phases.
- Developing a deep understanding of your product area by listening to the voice of your customers to understand what problems we need to solve and delivering solutions that provide value to end users and the business.
- Evangelizing the needs of our customers, leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to share key insights that inform product direction.
- Communicating tradeoffs and align cross functional partners and business stakeholders on priorities to help meet business goals.
- Communicating progress against objectives and key results, making recommendations to pivot or change course as needed.
- You will write business requirements and acceptance criteria laying out user stories and then work with the software engineers to prioritize and deliver features that provide value to our customers and business.
Assist team in overcoming blockers and providing recommendations based on trade-offs to optimize customer experience, time-to-market, and to clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal stakeholders and remote teams.
Create Product Documentation as necessary including technical requirements, acceptance criteria, roadmaps, and feature availability.
Support the marketing team in translating product specs and documentation into sales and marketing materials used with customers.
Meeting with customers and developing insight gathering processes with the customer as necessary for roadmap prioritization.
Requirements
- You have 4+ years of product management experience working with digital product teams and have successfully launched innovative high impact products that drive meaningful growth for the business.
- Demonstrated ability to define, analyze, and prioritize requirements across multiple stakeholder teams.
- Have an innate urge to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to guide your strategy and create a compelling narrative.
- Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to apply data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, develop .
- Care deeply about users and seek to understand their problems, needs, and desires
- Thrive on collaboration and you know how to rally and align your team.
- Communication skills are on point and you feel comfortable regularly presenting to execs, keeping peers and stakeholders informed, and jumping into Slack threads as needed
- Resourceful self-starter with a bias toward action
- Feel comfortable digging into an unknown problem space to understand better and craft an execution plan
- Bring humility, empathy, and a desire to learn
- Experience working at a tech company during rapid growth is a plus Experience working within an Agile project methodology and participating in Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, grooming, and release planning.
Salary
$80,000- $160,000 annually
Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs.
