San Diego Software Project + Product Management

This is a job for people that are somewhat new to the field and are super eager to learn, grow and face difficult challenges. No need for previous experience, though it does help. Looking for someone in San Diego.

We're looking for a Product Owner who:

• Craves a good challenges and likes pushing their creative abilities to solve problems
• Enjoys working at a company that enables and respects their freedom and atonomy
• Likes building great products that change the world in ways big and small.
• Has previous experience building software products/leading software projects.
• Has some experience with Project Management AND Product Manangement
• Understands technical concepts at a high level

We value autonomy, and as such, your responsibilities will include everything from:

• Gathering product requirements and distilling them into specs that a 5th grader could understand
• Taking those specs and turing them into a beautiful wireframe with our design team
• Taking those designs and working with our engineers to build it, balancing speed with efficiency and quality.
• Taking the product to our QA team to get it tested, and coordinating between QA and engineering to iterate through builds

Please note: we usually onboard incoming PMs at contractors, so that we get the chance to test the waters together. After our first project together, we can decide if we'd like to move forward with a full time engagement together.
